Virginia High School Volleyball - Herndon over Meridian

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Herndon Hornets (Herndon, VA) and the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA), saw Herndon's volleyball squad notch a victory over Meridian by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Herndon improves its record to 14-4 on the season. The Hornets host Langley (McLean, VA) to encounter the Saxons in a Liberty battle on Thursday, October 9. The Saxons enter the contest with a record of 1-10. Langley lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA)

Next, the Mustangs meet the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 9. Meridian will attempt to move on its 3-12 season record. The Statesmen enter the contest with a 11-4 record after their 3-1 league win over McLean (McLean, VA).
