In Tuesday's league bout, the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves (El Segundo, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

The Spartans now possess a 2-0 record.

With the loss, Wiseburn- Da Vinci drops to 4-14 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a bout on Thursday, October 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Peninsula won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Sonora (La Habra, CA)
