California High School Flag Football - Mariposa County wallops Gustine

The Mariposa County Grizzlies flag football squad scored 42 points and limited the host Gustine Reds to 0 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Grizzlies now hold a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to River Islands for a Southern Athletic League challenge on Thursday, October 9. Mariposa County will face a Riptide team coming off a 20-7 non-league loss to Millennium (Tracy, CA). The Riptide record now stands at 6-7.

The Reds (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Delta Charter (Tracy, CA). The Dragons go into the Southern Athletic League challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Delta Charter was ripped by Riverbank (Riverbank, CA), 59-0, in a league challenge.
