California High School Flag Football - Steele Canyon winner over Helix

The Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) flag football knocked off the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 35-19 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granite Hills for a Grossmont Hills contest on Thursday, October 9. Steele Canyon will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 26-18 league loss to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-3.

Coming up next, the Highlanders battle the Vista Panthers (Vista, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 9. Helix will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-10 record after their 18-8 league win over Valley Center (Valley Center, CA).
