Arizona High School Flag Football - Highland winner over Mountain Ridge

The Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) flag football knocked off the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 28-7 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sunrise Mountain for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. Highland will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 28-14 non-league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Mountain Ridge drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mountain lions travel to Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Gators in a non-league game on Thursday, October 9. The Gators enter the game with a record of 6-0. Xavier College Prep won 17-7 in their recent non-league game against Perry (Gilbert, AZ)
