California High School Flag Football - Rio Mesa smashes Pacifica

October 7, 2025: Oxnard, CA 93036

The Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA) flag football trounced the visiting Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA), 32-0 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) in a Channel game, on Thursday, October 9. Rio Mesa will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 10-14 record after their 48-0 league loss to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA).

The Tritons (7-13) will now prepare for their game against Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA). The Dons go into the Channel bout with a 6-13 record. In their last bout, Santa Barbara was crushed by San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 48-8, in a league bout.
