South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Calvary Christian Lions (Old Bridge, NJ), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Plainfield advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 8. The Tornadoes come into the test with a record of 0-7.

The Lions now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Calvary Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, October 10. Calvary Christian will play a Warrior squad coming off a 9-1 league win over American Christian School (Rockaway, NJ). The Warrior record now stands at 8-3.
