In Tuesday's league outing, the host Jefferson Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 win over the Spring Mills Cardinals.
The Cougars (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans come into the Two Rivers test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Morgantown was overwhelmed by Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV), 4-1, in a non-league test.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they host Musselman for a Eastern Panhandle test on Tuesday, October 14. Spring Mills will confront a Applemen squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Washington (Charles Town, WV). The Applemen record now stands at 4-9.
