The La Center Wildcats held off the host Kalama Chinooks soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Wildcats face the Columbia Bruins (White Salmon, WA) in a 1A Trico game, on Thursday, October 9. La Center will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Bruins come into the game with a 2-5 record after their 6-0 league loss to Seton Catholic (Vancouver, WA).
The Chinooks (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Stevenson (Stevenson, WA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A Trico bout with a 0-9 record. In their last bout, Stevenson was nudged by Castle Rock (Castle Rock, WA), 1-0, in a league bout.
