The Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) soccer overwhelmed the visiting North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV), 5-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Cougars now hold a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Lewis County for a Big Ten challenge on Thursday, October 9. Lincoln will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Minutemen record now stands at 8-6.
The Huskies (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV). The Colts come into the Big Ten match with a 1-15 record.
