Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots (San Diego, CA), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Coronado improves its record to 12-7 on the season. The Islanders travel to Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA) to face the Ravens in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Ravens go into the test with a record of 6-0.
The Pilots now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian for a challenge on Wednesday, October 8. Academy of Our Lady of Peace will play a Patriots team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 14-11.
