In Tuesday's non-league match, the Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA) volleyball squad nipped the visiting Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA), by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Nelson County got by William Campbell (Naruna, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Raiders battle the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 9. Appomattox County will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Colonels enter the contest with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dan River (Ringgold, VA).
