Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) and the host Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), observed Goochland's volleyball team top Charlottesville by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, James Monroe was knocked off by King George (King George, VA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Black Knights meet the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 15. Charlottesville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Fighting Hornets enter the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
