With the win, Concord Academy improves its record to 4-7 on the season. The Eagles host Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC) to face the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 0-11.

The Lions now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to SouthLake Christian Academy for a test on Thursday, October 9. Hickory Grove Christian will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 13-1.
