Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC), 2-0 in a league outing.

The Knights now have a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Pasquotank County for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. Currituck County will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-10.

The Gators (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears go into the game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Hertford County went down by First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
