The Cowboys come into the outing with a 13-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC).

With the loss, R.J. Reynolds drops to 5-14 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to play the Vikings in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 17-1. Northwest Guilford won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC)
