With the win, Western Albemarle upgrades its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Monticello won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA)

Next, the Flying Flucos face the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 9. Fluvanna County will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 12-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
