Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Fighting Knights come into the challenge with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Hillsdale gained a win over Woodside (Woodside, CA), 2-0, in a league test.

The Cougars now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aragon for a challenge on Thursday, October 9. Half Moon Bay will play a Dons team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Dons record now stands at 6-9.
