Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA) and the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA), observed Heritage's volleyball team top Liberty by a tally of 2-0.

The Patriots (10-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sierra (Manteca, CA). The Timberwolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record.

The Lions now own a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deer Valley for a test on Thursday, October 9. Liberty will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Amador (Sutter Creek, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-5.
