North Carolina High School Volleyball - Morehead can't get by Rockingham County

The Rockingham County Cougars edged the visiting Morehead Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Cougars play the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers (Yanceyville, NC) in a outing, on Thursday, October 9. Rockingham County will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Buccaneers come into the outing with a 3-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC).

With the loss, Morehead drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Martinsville (Martinsville, VA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 8. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-5. Martinsville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA)
