The Gadsden Panthers smashed the visiting Alamogordo Tigers soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Panthers face the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 game, on Thursday, October 9. Gadsden will attempt to advance on its 12-3 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 10-5 record after their 4-1 league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM).
The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their bout against Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Hawks go into the 5A District 3 bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Centennial nudged Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM), 1-0, in a league bout.
