The Atlantic City Vikings (Atlantic City, NJ) soccer nipped the visiting Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ), 1-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Vikings now hold a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakcrest for a Cape/Atlantic - United contest on Friday, October 10.

The Spartans (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against The Pilgrim Academy (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, The Pilgrim Academy held off King's Christian (Cherry Hill, NJ), 3-1, in a league contest.
