The Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) soccer nipped the visiting Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM), 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Wildcats now hold a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Carlsbad for a 5A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Clovis will battle a Cavemen/Cavegirls team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls record now stands at 2-13.
The Coyotes (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles enter the 5A District 4 contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Hobbs was nipped by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
