North Carolina High School Soccer - Oxford Prep nudges Discovery Charter School

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Oxford Prep Griffins soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Discovery Charter School Trailblazers.
The Griffins (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Knights go into the Triangle North 1A/2A outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Vance Charter was edged by Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 4-2, in a league test.
The Trailblazers now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Henderson Collegiate for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15. Discovery Charter School will clash with a Pride team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC). The Pride record now stands at 5-13.
