In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Oakwood/Catlin Comets soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Bunnies.

The Comets (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Blue Devils go into the Vermilion Valley outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin got by Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL), 3-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bunnies confront the Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon Knights (Farmer City, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 9.
