Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mount Desert Island moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Old Town (Old Town, ME) to clash with the Coyotes in a Class B - North outing on Saturday, October 11. The Coyotes go into the outing with a record of 0-7. Old Town lost 9-1 in their recent non-league outing against Orono (Orono, ME)

Next up, the Ponies confront the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 9. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
