New York High School Soccer - Goshen Central knocks off Valley Central

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Valley Central Vikings.

The Gladiators (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Wildcats enter the Section 9 Division II outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Warwick tipped Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 6-1, in a league test.

The Vikings now sport a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cornwall Central for a Section 9 Division II test on Thursday, October 9. Valley Central will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 5-0 league win over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Dragons record now stands at 9-0.
