The Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT) soccer nipped the visiting Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT), 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Highlanders now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Shepaug Valley for a Berkshire challenge on Thursday, October 9.
With the loss, Nonnewaug moves to 3-3 on the year. The Chiefs travel to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT) to encounter the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Rebels go into the match with a record of 4-8.
