Colorado High School Softball - Valley defeated by Brush

The Valley Vikings softball team (Gilcrest, CO), was routed 14-4 in Tuesday's league bout with the host Brush Beetdiggers (Brush, CO)

The Beetdiggers (14-5) will now prepare for their bout against Northridge (Greeley, CO). The Grizzlies go into the non-league bout with a 13-9 record. In their last bout, Northridge was routed by Roosevelt (Johnstown, CO), 15-2, in a league contest.

The Vikings now hold a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Lyons for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 9. Valley will face a Lions squad coming off a 13-3 league win over Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Lions record now stands at 16-5.
