The Cook Hornets softball squad (Adel, GA), was edged 10-9 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting Colquitt County Packers (Norman Park, GA)

With the triumph, Colquitt County improves its record to 14-15 on the year. The Packers host Lee County (Leesburg, GA) to face the Trojans in a non-league contest on Thursday, October 9. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 18-10. Lee County won 12-5 in their recent non-league contest against Perry (Perry, GA)
