In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats.
Next up, the Fighting Green Hornets face the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 game, on Thursday, October 9. Aiken will attempt to advance on its 14-14 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 6-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC).
The Bearcats (0-21) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians go into the AAAA Region 4 game with a 11-8 record. In their last game, Gilbert gained a win over Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC), 3-0, in a league game.
