In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marksville Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Alexandria Trojans.

The Tigers (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Knights enter the Division IV District 4 test with a 18-11 record. In their last test, Lafayette Christian Academy achieved victory over Port Barre (Port Barre, LA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red River for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9. Alexandria will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Pineville (Pineville, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.
