Texas High School Volleyball - Ballinger bounced by Sterling City

Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Ballinger Bearcats (Ballinger, TX), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Sterling City improves its record to 17-13 on the season. The Eagles travel to Christoval (Christoval, TX) to meet the Cougars in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 14-15. Christoval lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Miles (Miles, TX)

Next, the Bearcats meet the Forsan Buffaloes (Forsan, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Ballinger will attempt to upgrade on its 15-14 season record. The Buffaloes enter the challenge with a 27-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Reagan County (Big Lake, TX).
