In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Barrington Fillies/Broncos volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Hersey Huskies.

The Fillies/Broncos (16-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings come into the challenge with a 19-5 record. In their last challenge, Fremd edged Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies play the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Hersey will attempt to upgrade on its 16-10 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 2-1 league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
