The Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) volleyball overcame the visiting Pocahontas Redskins (Pocahontas, AR), 3-0 in Tuesday's league match.

The Bearcats (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Hardy, AR). The Rebels enter the 4A 3 contest with a 6-12 record.

In their next game, the Redskins encounter the Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) in a 4A 3 battle, on Thursday, October 9. Pocahontas will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 19-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Trumann (Trumann, AR).
