Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Wellesley Raiders (Wellesley, MA) and the visiting Brookline Warriors (Brookline, MA), observed Wellesley's volleyball team top Brookline by a count of 3-1.

The Raiders (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Braintree (Braintree, MA). The Wamps enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Braintree notched a victory over Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Warriors battle the Natick Redhawks (Natick, MA) in a Bay State - Carey contest, on Thursday, October 9. Brookline will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Redhawks enter the contest with a 7-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Newton North (Newtonville, MA).
