The Katella Knights volleyball squad (Anaheim, CA), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Buena Park Coyotes (Buena Park, CA)

The Coyotes (13-14) will now prepare for their contest against New Roads (Santa Monica, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, New Roads was tipped by Vistamar (El Segundo, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights battle the Ocean View Seahawks (Huntington Beach, CA) in a Orange Coast battle, on Thursday, October 9. Katella will attempt to improve on its 15-15 season record. The Seahawks go into the battle with a 20-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA).
