Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Charleston Trojans (Charleston, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

The Tornadoes (22-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL). The Bulldogs come into the Apollo challenge with a 24-3 record. In their last challenge, Mahomet-Seymour beat Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans meet the Effingham Hearts (Effingham, IL) in a Apollo challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Charleston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record.
