Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Owego Free Academy River Hawks (Owego, NY) and the visiting Chenango Valley Warriors (Binghamton, NY), observed Owego Free Academy's volleyball team top Chenango Valley by a count of 3-0.

The River Hawks (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Oneonta (Oneonta, NY). The Yellowjackets go into the Section 4 Southern Tier battle with a 2-3 record.

The Warriors now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windsor Central for a Section 4 Southern Tier battle on Wednesday, October 8. Chenango Valley will encounter a Black Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Norwich (Norwich, NY). The Black Knights record now stands at 13-3.
