The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Chilhowie Warriors (Chilhowie, VA) and the host Honaker Tigers (Honaker, VA), saw Chilhowie's volleyball squad notch a victory over Honaker by a tally of 3-0.

The Warriors (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Panthers enter the Hogoheegee challenge with a 3-10 record. In their last challenge, Northwood was beaten by Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Rural Retreat Indians (Rural Retreat, VA) in a Hogoheegee challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Honaker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Holston (Damascus, VA).
