Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Leo Lions (Leo, IN) and the host Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN), observed Leo's volleyball team top Columbia City by a count of 3-0.

The Lions (16-13) will now prepare for their contest against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN). The Barons go into the Northeast 8 battle with a 9-20 record. In their last battle, DeKalb achieved victory over New Haven (New Haven, IN), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 10-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellmont for a Northeast 8 battle on Thursday, October 9. Columbia City will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Huntington North (Huntington, IN). The Braves record now stands at 16-12.
