In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Columbus Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Rice Consolidated Raiders.

The Cardinals (31-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX). The Cobras go into the 3A Region IV District 25 test with a 29-13 record. In their last test, Industrial achieved victory over Edna (Edna, TX), 3-0, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 8-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palacios for a 3A Region IV District 25 test on Friday, October 10.
