The Millbrook Wildcats volleyball squad (Raleigh, NC), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC)

The Pirates (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Rams enter the CAP 8A contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Rolesville got by Enloe (Raleigh, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, October 8. Millbrook will attempt to move on its 8-14 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 9-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Vance County (Henderson, NC).
