In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Cornerstone Christian Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the TEACH Home School Guardians.
The Lions (16-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain Mission (Grundy, VA). The Challengers go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Mountain Mission was defeated by Cornerstone Christian Academy (Abingdon, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Guardians now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Cities Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14.
