Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Crusaders (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA). The Cougars come into the 2B Bi-County challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last challenge, Chewelah edged Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Gorillas meet the Kettle Falls Bulldogs (Kettle Falls, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Davenport will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chewelah (Chewelah, WA).
