Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Shadle Park Highlanders (Spokane, WA) and the host Ferris Saxons (Spokane, WA), observed Shadle Park's volleyball team top Ferris by a tally of 3-1.

The Highlanders (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA). The Bullpups go into the 3A/4A Greater Spokane test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Gonzaga Prep achieved victory over Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Saxons now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host University for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Thursday, October 9. Ferris will meet a Titans team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mead (Spokane, WA). The Titans record now stands at 6-5.
