In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Goodrich Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Leggett Pirates.

The Hornets (7-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Richards (Richards, TX). The Panthers enter the 1A Region IV District 26 challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Richards was beaten by Chester (Chester, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 26 test, on Friday, October 10. Leggett will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 24-13 record after their 3-2 league win over Richards (Richards, TX).
