Texas High School Volleyball - Sweetwater over Grape Creek

The Sweetwater Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Grape Creek Eagles to 0 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 17-17 record. They play next when they travel to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy for a 3A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, October 10. Sweetwater will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 21-9.

With the loss, Grape Creek drops to 1-18 on the campaign. The Eagles host Jim Ned (Tuscola, TX) to play the Indians in a 3A Region I District 6 outing on Saturday, October 11. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 22-10. Jim Ned lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Wall (Wall, TX)
