The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 11-21. Hughes Springs won 3-0 in their recent league test against Daingerfield (Daingerfield, TX)

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Diana for a 3A Region II District 13 test on Friday, October 10. Jefferson will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 19-16.
