Illinois High School Volleyball - Massac County over Harrisburg

October 7, 2025: Harrisburg, IL 62946

The Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL) volleyball were victorious over the host Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 22-5 record. They play next when they travel to Herrin for a Southern Illinois River-to-River Ohio match on Thursday, October 9. Massac County will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-17.

The Bulldogs (12-16) will now prepare for their match against Carterville (Carterville, IL). The Lions enter the Southern Illinois River-to-River Ohio match with a 15-10 record. In their last match, Carterville gained a win over Herrin (Herrin, IL), 2-0, in a league bout.
